The newly elected State Administrative Council members of the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) under the leadership of the Chairman, Comrade Aladetan Abiodun paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Commissioner for Establishments and Training, Hon Ayantoyo Afolabi along with other Management Staff of the Ministry.

During the visit, Comrade Aladetan expressed his profound appreciation to Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for the unwavering support and cooperation extended to the Labour movement in Lagos State, especially during and after the recently concluded TUC election. He stated further that the new leadership of TUC Lagos remains committed to social dialogue, constructive engagement, and partnership with the Government in pursuit of a shared vision of a productive workforce and a prosperous Lagos State.

Comrade Aladetan emphasized the need why the Ministry of Establishments must see itself as a critical partner in this journey for a better welfare for workers in Lagos State. Hence, he gave the commitment to strengthen the institutional relationship between the Government and Labour, anchored on mutual trust, transparency, and shared responsibility.
